Registered Pharmacist
Dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. May advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions and side effects of medications.
-Develop and maintain a National Diabetes Prevention Program.
-Providing diabetes education programs to patients.
-Screening for and providing immunizations.
-Providing medication therapy management (MTM) services
-Assisting with compounding services.
-Administering point-of-care testing.
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or foreign equivalent. Eligible for Iowa State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh.). 40 hours per week (rotating schedule includes weekends).
